Bobby Brown pleads not guilty

16th April 2012

Bobby Brown has pled not guilty to driving under the influence.

The singer, and ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston, was arrested last month in California.

He had been pulled over for talking on his cell phone while behind the wheel but then failed four sobriety tests after officers suspected he had been drinking.

He was arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended licence. Bobby was later released on $5,000 bail.

The My Prerogative star entered his plea of innocence in a Van Nuys, California court today, according to TMZ.

The judge has also requested that Bobby does not consume any alcohol now as an extra condition of his bail terms.

The New Edition performer was not required to actually appear in person as the charges are all misdemeanors but he faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
