Renowned Retro Superstar Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor might not have carved a niche for herself in the industry as an actress, but as a fashionista, she is quite popular with the masses.

But this time, the actress is making news for her films as well.  The actress is currently garnering compliments for her performance in the film 'Khoobsurat'.

The actress has a full platter for the coming year as she has films with leading filmmakers like Arbaaz Khan and Sooraj Barjatya. She is also reportedly approached to lead the Bollywood remake of Hollywood Hit 'The Princess Diaries'.

Talking about she achieving heights in her career, the filmmakers who have worked with her in recent past exclaim that she deserves every inch of her success.

"Sonam has a hunger to do well and that is one of her finest qualities. She is a proper Indian actress, and has a quality of sheer poetry which makes her perfect for my film," said Sooraj who is currently shooting with her for his next, where she has been casted opposite Salman Khan.

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who has worked with her in 'Delhi 6' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', states that her spontaneity comes naturally to her.

"Sonam, as an actor, is instinctive and spontaneous. That's what makes her performances so natural. She reacts from her heart and there is a sincerity with which she goes about her performances," he said.
