(Cover) - EN Movies - Bradley Cooper is reportedly in talks to replace Mark Wahlberg in The Silver Linings Playbook.

The movie is an adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel and also stars Jennifer Lawrence.

Mark is believed to have dropped out of the project after the shooting schedule for The Hunger Games was pushed back, making it impossible for the actor to star in both films.

Now Bradley is said to have re-entered discussions about taking on the role of Pat Peoples, a former teacher who has been locked away in a mental asylum for years. Following his release, he tries to reconnect with his ex-wife, but his troubled neighbour, who will be played by Jennifer, causes complications.

Director David O. Russell is also said to be keen to get Hollywood legend Robert De Niro involved in the project.

The filmmaker had previously hired the star to appear alongside Mark in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, but moved on from the project due to creative differences.

Insiders are now speculating whether Mark's drop out of The Silver Linings Playbook will cause David to abandon this project too. (C) Cover Media
