Brandon Routh: I'd love to return to Chuck

(Cover) - EN Movies - Brandon Routh has revealed he "would love to" return to Chuck.

The actor, who played mysterious spy Daniel Shaw in the action-comedy TV show, said there was certainly the possibility of a comeback because his character wasn't killed off.

When asked whether he could imagine returning for the final series of the popular programme, he insisted he would be happy to do so.

"I don't know I would love to, certainly. Shaw was not killed that we saw so I don't know what they have in store, but I would love to, so I'm available. Or make myself available," he told movie website Collider.

The Superman Returns star also talked about his upcoming movie Crooked Arrows.

Brandon revealed that shooting starts this summer and explained what part he would be playing.

"I'm doing a new movie this August called Crooked Arrows, which is about lacrosse. It's in the vein of The Mighty Ducks, except that the kids are a little bit older they're in high school - and I am forced to become their coach," he said.

The star felt he had a lot to live up playing a similar role to that of Emilio Estevez's coach in the original The Mighty Ducks movie. Remembering watching the films when he was younger, he said he hoped Crooked Arrows would be a welcome new addition to sports-related family films.

"Yeah, I mean that whole genre That movie stands alone. Growing up, this is something I remember watching and there's a lot of room and appeal for that type of movie and I hope we do it justice," he said. (C) Cover Media
