(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Bruno Mars' girlfriend is "scared for her life" following harassment from his obsessive fans.

The 25-year-old Hawaiian singer-songwriter recently began dating model Jessica Caban. Sources close to the beauty have revealed she is struggling to cope with pressure from her beau's defensive admirers.

Bruno shot to international fame with his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans last year, and has since won a legion of female fans.

Jessica's representative Eunice Quinones says the Puerto Rican star is "scared for her life". She has apparently faced a fair amount of trouble, including being "harassed" on Twitter and Facebook by "haters who say she's not good enough for the pop star and are threatening her to stay away".

According to the New York Post, the most recent incident involved an angry female fan turning up outside bar The Chelsea Room at the weekend for a confrontation with Jessica.

"I hate it when b***hes don't keep it real!" the fan shouted.

Jessica's spokesperson says the star is "getting a bodyguard when she goes to events" from now on.
