Cat Deeley: Quirkiness is good

9th December 2010

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Cat Deeley says girls should not be so self-conscious about their quirky imperfections.

The British TV presenter has admitted she likes to set trends and is not scared of wearing boundary-crossing clothes.

The beautiful star moved to America to further her career and feels its unnecessary when women are critical of their own looks. She thinks people in the glamorous US city of Los Angeles can be overly vain, yet argues her own confidence gets her through.

One of the things women so often beat themselves up about is looking quirky. Im far from perfect, especially by LA standards, Cat told the British edition of Cosmopolitan. I have a crooked nose but Im secure enough in myself not to let it bother me.

The 34-year-old beauty looks up to her favourite garment-maker Matthew Williamson, and loves that he gives her great advice. The star has spoken of her adoration for him in the past, laughing that he always encourages his clients to enjoy themselves.

Matthew Williamson is the fairy godmother every girl needs! He supplies a great frock and tells you not to be home at midnight! she said. (C) Cover Media
