(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Catherine Zeta-Jones is blown away by how gorgeous and pretty her husband Michael Douglas is looking.

Michael underwent intense radiation and chemotherapy for stage four cancer after doctors discovered a large tumour inside his throat last year, but he is now confident he will make a full recovery. The 66-year-old lost 33lbs. while he was ill, but has since started putting weight back on. He has been looking increasingly healthy in recent weeks, which hasnt gone unnoticed by his wife.

He looks absolutely gorgeous, you think I look pretty you should see him! she laughed.

Catherine was speaking after being awarded a lifetime achievement prize by the Welsh Society of New York. It comes just weeks after she received an Order of the British Empire (OBE) at Buckingham Palace in London, and the 41-year-old cant believe how lucky she is.

Although the year has been hard on her due to Michaels health battle, she now feels ready to start afresh with him and their kids Dylan, ten, and seven-year-old Carys.

I feel very, very proud and patriotic tonight. After coming from Buckingham Palace to be honoured here means a lot to me, she told Extra.

Its been a crazy year, my husbands health and all that stuff, but to be honoured in his way is terrific. To be part of the Welsh in New York making our home now in New York I feel very proud and honoured.

The kids are doing great, they were all dressed up to go to the palace. Theyre very annoyed they cant be here tonight but its a school night.

The star still managed to make receiving the award a family affair though, as she was wearing a necklace and bracelet bought by her father-in-law Kirk Douglas for his wife. (C) Cover Media
