(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen has been released from hospital and is feeling great.

Yesterday the actor was rushed to Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center suffering from severe abdominal pains.

It was reported Charlie was suffering from a hernia in his stomach, although his manager Mark Burg says the star has been released from hospital and will be ready to get back to work next week on the programme Two and a Half Men where he portrays character Charles Francis Charlie Harper.

"He is feeling great and is planning on being at work as scheduled this Tuesday," Mark told ET.

It is understood his father Martin Sheen was with him at hospital, and his ex-wife Denise Richards, with whom he has two daughters, was also spotted visiting the clinic.

This latest health scare has been an additional drama for the star, who last year was hospitalised after allegedly being found drunk and naked in a hotel room while on a family holiday to New York with Denise and their kids. He was taken in for an alleged alcohol abuse and psychological evaluation. (C) Cover Media
