Charlie Sheen: Im not dangerous insane

2nd March 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen is keen for people to know hes not dangerous insane.

The Hollywood star has sparked fears for his mental health lately, after he gave a string of bizarre interviews. He has been receiving rehab at home since January, meaning his show Two and a Half Men went on hiatus. Last week he slammed the shows producer Chuck Lorre as well as Network CBS and production company Warner Bros. for their decision to halt production, causing the shows current season to be cancelled.

Since then, Charlie has given a series of interviews in which he accused Chuck, CBS and Warner Bros. of using him and making him poor by cutting the series, and has even talked of suing for as much as $320 million. He has also blasted Alcoholics Anonymous and his father Martin Sheen for saying he has a disease, and spoken of his relationship with two women.

In a new interview with People, Charlie has discussed the myths currently surrounding him. It's not an act, he said. Here's the good news: if I realise that I'm insane, then I'm okay with it. I'm not dangerous insane.

He also again blasted Alcoholics Anonymous, insisting he has only overcome his problems since forgetting everything that the organisation teaches. I'm not interested in addiction, disease, all that crap. Twenty years they took from me. I just decided that I was going to think differently, that I was not going to believe anything I'd been taught, he said.

Charlie also spoke about his family life. The star has two daughters Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola with ex-wife Denise Richards, twin boys with estranged-wife Brooke Mueller and an older daughter from another relationship.

Yesterday, Brooke was granted full custody of Bob and Max, almost two, after she got a restraining order against Charlie. His interview with People is understood to have been conducted before those events took place.

The Hollywood star admits he hasnt always been the father he hoped to be, but is going to change that. There's a feeling... that I haven't spent enough time with them, and they're getting older, he said. Not the boys, but the girls. But rather than sitting here and going, 'What have I done?' I just change it."

In another interview with website RadarOnline, Charlie has addressed his issues with Brooke. He is furious at her decision to get a restraining order and does not believe he should be kept away from his sons. He has vowed to do all he can to reverse the situation, and insists it is Brooke who has issues not him.

Tiger blood will drip from my veins in my quest. Defeat is not an option, he told the site.

She is an absolute traitor and she must be banished. [When I am finished] she will be living under a bridge, toothless and confused.

[This is] just a cheap ploy by a cheap person... [and] a reminder of why I extracted her from my life in the first place, via divorce.

Charlie has slammed police for not being properly prepared when they came to pick up Bob and Max. He says he had to provide them with car seats for the tots, and is furious about the situation.

If people thought I created a sh*t storm by my focus and my resolves to go after CBS, Chuck Lorre, Les Moonves, all of them - if they thought that was radical, they haven't seen anything yet, he said. You come into my house and take my children away... there's a storm coming - and its me. (C) Cover Media
