(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheens estranged wife has reportedly checked into rehab.

The troubled actor is in the process of getting divorced from Brooke Mueller, with who he has two-year-old twins Bob and Max. The pair have a difficult relationship, with Brooke recently obtaining a restraining order against Charlie after claiming he threatened her.

They have since worked out a custody arrangement and as part of it Brooke must submit to random drug tests. On Friday she refused to undergo one, and its now been reported she has decided to check into a clinic for professional help.

Brooke Mueller has gone back to rehab following a crazy week of bingeing... sources familiar with the situation tell us, reports website TMZ.

Sheen's lawyers are going to court on Tuesday to raise the issue [of the test], and we're told Brooke's move is a pre-emptive strike.

Further details about where Brooke is receiving help have not been disclosed.

She has received treatment in the past, most notably checking into a clinic after her highly-publicised argument with Charlie on Christmas Day in December 2009. The actor was charged with domestic violence and eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault after taking a plea deal. (C) Cover Media
