(Cover) - EN Star Style - Cheryl Cole has revealed she prefers fair skin to a tanned look.

The 27-year-old British songstress found fame in pop group Girls Aloud and has gone on to enjoy a successful career as a solo artist, collaborating with artists such as will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas.

The beauty is renowned for her bronzed skin tone, but insists she actually prefers a more natural look. Cheryl admits she is partial to a spot of sunbathing, but insists that it is all done in moderation.

I love the sun too, but I like to be sunkissed, not burnt or tanned-looking, she told the British edition of Cosmopolitan. Im sure theres a lot I should be doing, but its unrealistic to be perfect every day.

Cheryls sensible approach to tanning also extends to her diet. The star admits coffee is one of her biggest vices, but thinks as long as she doesnt drink excessively there shouldnt be a problem.

I love coffee! People tell you not to drink it, but when I wake up its the first thing I think of. I just love it! she said. (C) Cover Media
