The actress known for her unconventional looks and acting is all set to groove on an item number in Shirish Kunder’s Joker.

After having experimented with different roles in a short span of career, Chitrangada Singh is all set to add another feather to her cap. The dusky beauty is all set to perform a sizzling item number in Shirish Kunder’s upcoming flick ‘Joker’.

According to Shirish, “Kaafirana is essentially a rustic song with a raunchy flavor to it. We wanted a fresh yet sensual face, and not the usual, go-to item girls of today.”

The song titled ‘Kaafirana’ will be choreographed by none other than ace Choreographer, Director and Shirish’s wife Farah Khan. It may be recollected that in the year 2010, both the top item songs of the year ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ and ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ were choreographed by Farah herself.

Interestingly, ‘Joker’ also features an item number performed by lead actress Sonakshi Sinha which has been choreographed by renowned Choreographer Saroj Khan.

The fantasy adventure film is going to be a 3-D film which stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Shreyas Talpade in the lead roles and is set to release in June 2012.
