(Cover) - EN Star Style - Christina Aguilera has a whole new confidence in her body after shooting Burlesque.

The 29-year-old singer made the transition to movies when she landed the role of Ali in the comedy musical alongside Cher.

Christina portrays a small-town girl who moves to Los Angeles to try to make it as a performer, and admits she feels a lot more proud of her body now than she used to as the complex dance routines required a great deal of working out.

Her confidence isnt just about the changes in her body shape though, as she feels the movie enforces a strong message to women encouraging them to embrace their womanly attributes.

I think the ultimate message for women is that it feels so empowering if you get into it and I walked away with a whole new confidence in my body, she enthused on a British television show.

Christina learned a range of raunchy burlesque-inspired dance routines for her part in the film, and toned up a great deal. The gorgeous star wouldnt have minded if it had required her to do the opposite and gain weight though, as she admits that could be fun.
