(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Christina Applegate plans to be a “hippie” mom, who also gives her child rules.

The actress is currently expecting her first child with her fiancé Martyn LeNoble. She has decided to keep the details of the pregnancy secret, and hasn’t confirmed when the baby is due.

However, the 38-year-old is happy to talk about her plans for motherhood. She is keen to implement some skills learnt from her mother Nancy Lee Priddy, but knows she won’t be as relaxed at parenting as she was.

“I'll probably be a little bit hippie and a little bit Type A,” Christina said at the Los Angeles premiere of Going the Distance. “I'll take from what my mother did, which was way hippie and like 'Do what you wanna do,' and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts.”

Christina is enjoying being pregnant, and says she hasn’t suffered from too many strange cravings. Her appetite has grown tremendously though, and the star always feels hungry.

The star is getting used to gobbling food at all hours of the day or night, but says there is one aspect of being with child which is making her anxious.

“The nursery. It's gender neutral because we don't know [if it's a boy or girl],” she explained. “It's becoming a bigger project than it was supposed to be, unfortunately.” (C) Cover Media
