Christina Applegate "would love to have one more child."

The 40-year-old actress and her fianc Martyn LeNoble are parents to 13-month-old daughter Sadie.

Christina embraces motherhood and is eager to expand her brood.

"I would love to have one more," she said in the April edition of Health magazine.

"I know I'm 40, and people are gonna say, 'Hmm' I'll probably have to harvest in the next year to make sure we have a backup plan."

Four years ago Christina underwent a double mastectomy to treat breast cancer. Although the disease has been in remission since the procedure, the star admits that she is still terrified of the illness coming back.

Christina also harbours anger against medical practitioners, as she believes promoting awareness on the subject is not approached properly.

"That kind of thing pisses me off about the medical community, that they're still spewing lies about who's getting this disease," she said. "I'm probably more unfortunately, at this point paranoid than I'd ever been before about when I go get my checkups and everything. I'm just scared. And I don't want to be."

When Christina looks to lift her spirits she dives into TV reality competitions for comfort.

"I get into the Idol. American Idol. I have been known to vote," she shared. "And also for So You Think You Can Dance. For that I vote, I'm pretty hardcore."
