(Cover) - EN Star Style - Claudia Schiffer says she needs "effortless" pieces in her wardrobe because she is often in a rush while getting ready.

The 40-year-old supermodel has three kids with her film director husband Matthew Vaughn, Caspar, eight, Clementine, six and 14-month-old Cosima.

Claudia says despite having an eye for style, she rarely has time to pamper herself these days with her busy family life.

The model says her latest venture, a line of knitwear, is perfect for days where she doesn't have time to put much thought into her outfit choices.

"I don't have much time to think about what to wear in the mornings, so it was important to me to create chic-but-effortless pieces that you can just throw on for the school run, then head off to work for meetings, and feel great in what you're wearing," she told Style.com.

Claudia, who wanted to create clothes which are easy to wear, says the designing of the collection was not always simple. Despite being in the fashion industry for a number of years, the blonde beauty was sometimes intimidated by the task ahead.

"I think what was most challenging has been to realise my ideas into the actual garments," she explained. "It's been a huge learning curve, but it's something I have wanted to do for a long time." (C) Cover Media
