Courteney Cox has responded to estranged husband David Arquette's divorce petition.

The former couple married 13 years ago but separated back in October 2010 and have eight-year-old daughter Coco together.

In a similar move to David, Courteney has also filed her legal documents without a lawyer.

TMZ reports that the 47-year-old actress did not have a prenuptial agreement in place when she married David.

This would mean that all of the money they earned in the time they were together would be deemed community property and would have to be divided in half.

Towards the end of her time on her hit sitcom, Courteney was earning $1 million a week in her role as Monica Geller and is said to be worth around $75 million. David's value is estimated at $18 million.

Courteney has also requested joint physical and legal custody of their little girl and states that she wants to have her name restored to Courteney Cox and will drop Arquette.
