(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Daniel Radcliffe was unhappy with his performance in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, calling it “same-y”.

The actor found fame playing the boy wizard in the popular film franchise, which he finished shooting earlier this year. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, the seventh and penultimate movie in the series, is out later this year, and Daniel hopes fans will be happy with it. He worked hard to give his best performance to date, revealing that even if he isn’t entirely satisfied with what he says, he knows he couldn’t have done any better.

“This film has been hard to make, and I’ve had some of the most trying moments, both physically and mentally, than ever before,” he said. “I wasn’t entirely thrilled with my performance in Half-Blood - I found it quite same-y, and didn’t think there was enough variation in it - so I’ve worked hard to make sure that if the seventh film comes out and I’m still unhappy with it, I’ll know it won’t be from lack of trying,” Daniel told Entertainment Weekly magazine.

The publication chatted to Daniel and his co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint while they were shooting the upcoming movie, and the final one Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. The trio all admitted they were nervous about leaving the series behind them, but also excited to be contemplating new projects.

Emma and Rupert were in the process of shooting a scene where they are soaking wet so were being continually covered in water, something the actress wasn’t entirely happy about.

“It’s been this way for weeks. I hate to sound whiny, but it’s horrible. It’s miserable being wet all the time,” she said. “But, you know, I was told it will look very dramatic when you see the films, so it will be worth it.” (C) Cover Media
