Darren Aronofsky keen to direct Human Nature

(Cover) - EN Movies - Darren Aronofsky is reportedly keen to direct George Clooney in Human Nature.

The directors last release Black Swan received a slew of award nominations. Speculation has been rife about what Darren will focus on next, especially after he pulled out of working on The Wolverine in March. Its now been reported he is keen to work on Human Nature, a science fiction movie penned by Jeff Welch.

The picture is about a man who is cryogenically frozen. He wakes up many years later and discovers the world has completely transformed humans are now at the beck and call of another species.

We hear that George Clooney is attaching himself to star, reports Vulture.

I Am Legend producer Akiva Goldsman is currently thought to be involved with the release.

Black Swan earned Darren a best director Academy Award nomination. Although he didnt win, the release boosted Natalie Portmans career. She starred as troubled ballerina Nina Sayers and picked up the best actress Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe.

His pedigree meant many movie fans were thrilled when it was announced he would be helming The Wolverine, a sequel to the 2009 smash X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, he pulled out after explaining he was uncomfortable with all the travelling it would entail, as the film will primarily be shot in Japan. (C) Cover Media
