David Hasselhoff calls trunks marble-sacks'

(Cover) - EN Star Style - David Hasselhoff affectionately calls his swimming trunks "marble-sacks".

The 58-year-old actor-and-singer famously portrayed lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the now-defunct US television series Baywatch. He has teased that he still likes to don a pair of tight-fitting trunks when hitting the beach in case he notices a swimmer in difficulty.

The hunk tries to keep them hidden under a baggier pair of shorts though, as he isn't keen on flashing too much flesh.

"I call Speedos marble-sacks'. You never want to be seen in just those. At the beach, you'll see me in some nice shorts. But I'll have my marble-sacks on underneath, in case I gotta save a life," he laughed in an interview with Esquire.

David isn't only conscious of the way he looks when hitting the beach. The star considers it his responsibility to look good at all times, as he owes it to his fans.

"Whether you're by the pool, playing golf, or performing Looking for Freedom to millions while standing on the Berlin Wall, always make the effort," he explained.

David added he isn't eager on the current trend for baggy attire. He thinks that a gentleman should always have clothes made to measure.

"Make sure your summer wardrobe is properly fitted. None of this slouchy c**p. You want to look trim and athletic," he enthused. (C) Cover Media
