(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Schwimmer and his wife Zoe Buckman are expecting their first child.

The pair got married at a low-key ceremony in June this year and have expressed their wish to start a family, even hinting that she was pregnant.

Now Davids representative has confirmed the actor and photographer Zoe will welcome a baby in the new year.

The source told People magazine the happy couple couldnt be more thrilled with the news.

David, 43, who met his British wife in London in 2007 when he was working on the film Run, Fat Boy, Run, was said to be getting broody earlier this year. A source close to the American revealed his time on the set of successful series Friends - in which his character Ross had kids - made him pine to look after his own children in real life.
