(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Deborra-Lee Furness couldnt help quizzing Jennifer Hudson about her weight loss when they met at a pre-Oscars party.

Jennifer dropped five dress sizes last year, and is now around a US size six. She shed the weight by embarking on a healthy diet and fitness regime, and is thrilled with her new figure.

Deborra-Lee and her husband Hugh Jackman attended the Academy Awards in Los Angeles last night, and made the most of their time in Hollywood by going to other parties in the days running up to the prestigious event. The actress saw Jennifer at one of the A-list bashes, and was stunned by how healthy she looks.

[Going to the Oscars] is so much fun. For anyone going to the Oscars, lets face it, youre the princess, youre going to the ball, youre Cinderella putting on the gowns and the jewels. Its like a cultural experience the red carpet and seeing the celebrities, she explained.

I went to a party the other night with Jennifer Hudson and I said, 90lbs, how did you do it babe? She looked amazing. Its so much fun, seeing all the people youve seen in the movies all year and saying how fabulous they are. I love it the other way too, when you sit at home in the slippers with popcorn talking about the dresses.

Later this week, Deborra-Lee features on Australian TV programme This Is Your Life. She had no idea a show was being made about her until she was presented with the famous red book filled with images from her past, and cant believe Hugh managed to keep it a secret.

She loved seeing old friends and work colleagues again, but was less enamoured when someone let slip shed always hoped to marry Jerry Seinfeld.
