This one will be a good show for those who love Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif equally. Apparently, it is heard that the two have been signed together to play the leads in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's (SLB) next titled 'Bajirao Mastani'.

The filmmakers dream project will finally take off after 14 years. Bhansali wanted to make the film in 1999 with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but their fall-out resulted in shelving the project.

The historical film will be based on the life of Peshwa Bajirao, where Deepika will play his ladylove 'Mastani' and Katrina will play his wife 'Kashibai'.

Once 'Ram Leela' releases in October 2013, the pre-production work will start on 'Bajirao Mastani', and the shooting will begin in April, 2014.

Bhansali has spoken to both the actresses and they're very keen to be a part of this project. However, who will play Bajirao is not yet known, though Ranbir Kapoor is under consideration.

If the above cast is finalized, it will be interesting to see how the two ladies get along on the sets, considering 'who'...oops, sorry we mean 'what' they have in common.
