There are many real life characters, who inspire filmmakers to build a film around their life story. And the latest to inspire a film is the Kingfisher owner and billionaire businessman Vijay Mallya.

We hear that filmmaker Subhash Ghai is making a film titled 'Kaanchi' which will portray one of the key characters based on Vijay Mallya, and to play the role he has chosen one of his all time favorite star Rishi Kapoor.

The audiences will reportedly see Rishi playing a character on the lines of business tycoon Vijay Mallya in real life with some traits of his character 'Monty' from the film 'Karz'. Like the real Vijay Mallya, the film will also have Rishi's character surrounded by beautiful models.

Let's hope Rishi's character can fly higher than Kingfisher Airlines in 'Kaanchi'.
