Actress Huma Qureshi created quite an impression on filmmakers and audiences after her performance in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' (GOW). And the not-so-glamorous role is indeed looked upon differently in today's world is what she talks about.
In a recent interview, Huma spoke about actress Vidya Balan, who has changed things for women and also about how actresses are no more considered as glamour dolls.
"I think that is changing very, very fast. Today look at what Vidya has done - she has changed things for women. Be it me, Konkona, or Kalki - we all are refining the quintessential role of a glamour doll in Bollywood ... Thanks to many directors and writers who are coming up with fantastic story and ideas," she says.
After 'GOW', Huma has worked in 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana' and she is quite happy that her filmmakers have chosen her once again in their next projects too.
The actress will soon be seen in 'Ek Thi Daayan' opposite Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin and Konkona Sen Sharma, which releases on April 19.
