Demi Moore is reportedly looking forward to "changing for the better" following her marriage split.
The actress announced she is divorcing her husband Ashton Kutcher yesterday. The news came following allegations Ashton was unfaithful to her on their sixth wedding anniversary in September.
Friends insist Demi is OK, explaining she's been talking about moving on with her life for several weeks.
"She said she was going to change for the better," an insider told Us Weekly. "And she said that it was time for her to focus on her girls."
Demi has daughters Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and 17-year-old Tallulah with her ex-husband Bruce Willis.
The 39-year-old actress also said she is looking forward to "focusing on" herself. She apparently said Ashton will also be alright as he has "his thing", which might have been a reference to his starring role on the US TV show Two and a Half Men.
Ever since the allegations were made against the actor by 22-year-old Sara Leal there has been speculation he and Demi might split.
They are thought to have tried to work through their issues using Kabbalah counselling, and also spent time together away from home last weekend.
Demi confirmed she is legally ending their union yesterday, saying in a statement: "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life."
