Demi Moore is seeking help after reportedly growing tired of Ashton Kutcher's "teenage" behaviour.

The 49-year-old actress announced she was ending her marriage to Ashton, 33, last year following allegations he was unfaithful. She seemed to find the split hard and on Monday was rushed to hospital after collapsing at home.

Her representative has confirmed she is seeking help for "exhaustion", and it's now been claimed her estranged-spouse's behaviour has become too much for Demi to bear.

"Now he's carrying on like a teenager, goes around with other women, and then, when he's feeling scared and lonely, he reaches out to Demi. It's really taking its toll on her. Demi is exhausted and humiliated. She needs some time to take care of herself and regroup," a source told New York Post.

The insider alleges things were difficult when the former couple saw each other at a Golden Globe Awards party earlier this year. It had been reported they were civil to each other, but it's now suggested the meeting was awkward.

It was claimed Ashton cheated on Demi on their sixth wedding anniversary. It wasn't the first time allegations of unfaithfulness had been made against him, although Demi had apparently always believed her partner's version of events.

"Despite the rumours, she always gave him the benefit of the doubt. But as soon as he admitted it, she asked him to leave," the source explained.

"He was pushing and pulling at her for months before they split."

It's been speculated that Demi is receiving rehab treatment for an eating disorder, with TMZ also claiming she is being helped for substance abuse issues.

The website has now alleged she collapsed after using nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, at home.

Demi's representative has not commented on any of the allegations, only saying: "Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
