(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Rowland insists that Destiny's Child have no plans to reunite.
The successful American girl group also comprising Beyonc Knowles and Michelle Williams announced they were going their separate ways in 2005 to pursue solo careers. The trio have remained close friends and met up in New York on Tuesday at the launch of Kelly's third solo album Here I Am. Even though there has been speculation the group would reform, Kelly says there are no plans to get back together.
"It's nothing we've discussed and we talk pretty much every week," she revealed.
However, Kelly who has landed a job as a judge on British television show X Factor admits she would consider surprising the music world by planning a secret performance with Beyonc and Michelle.
"Anything a cappella," she replied when asked what she would like to perform with her former bandmates. "I would love for us to come and shut something down a cappella and just kill it. I remember when Wyclef put us on the spot at the MTV Awards, when we did Say My Name I look back at that, and we sounded so good!"
Last month, it was reported the group would be reunited during Beyonc's set at Glastonbury musical festival in the UK. Rumours suggested the stars would appear on stage and perform a medley of their hits. (C) Cover Media
