(Cover) - EN Movies - Rosario Dawson is the latest actress to join the cast of Danny Boyle-directed drama Trance.

The American star, who is best known for her roles in Sin City and Seven Pounds, has joined the upcoming heist thriller, which also stars James McAvoy.

The film centres on James' character who is an employee of an art auction house who acts as the inside man during a planned heist. However the crime goes horribly wrong when he ends up with amnesia and forgets where the loot has been hidden.

Vincent Cassel will play the dangerous accomplice who tries to extract the information out of him using a hypnotherapist, while Rosario has signed to the female hypnotherapist lead who strikes up an odd relationship with the male pair.

Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson were previously rumoured for the lead roles.

Filming on Trance is likely to begin in September, according to Deadline, before the footage is shelved as filmmaker Danny directs the London Olympic Games opening ceremony.

It will then be picked up again in August 2012 for a March 2013 release.

Rosario can next be seen at the Toronto International Film Festival in Ten Year, while Vincent is starring in A Dangerous Method, alongside Viggo Mortensen, Keira Knightley and Michael Fassbender. (C) Cover Media
