Nikhil Advani wanted another actress to play the lead but Mishra was adamant on her. Now, Mishra is on a lookout for a producer and the film has been invariably delayed.
Meanwhile,
Mahesh Manjrekar is working on his next Hindi directorial venture and has offered Chitrangada the lead role.
We hear that his association with
Salman Khan has also helped him get Salman on board and the actor will play a pivotal role in the film, but not the lead. Chitrangada has reportedly liked the script and if things go well, she will soon be working with Salman.
We hope this Salman connection will sure help her Bollywood career.
