Sachin Tendulkar, the god of Indian cricket was out playing his last innings and our Btown folks couldn't miss the historical moment when he was on field batting.
Aamir Khan reached Mumbai's Wankhede stadium much in advance but had to leave to attend his event to launch 'Dhoom Machale' song that in fact is dedicated to Sachin. However, he took a U-turn as soon as he learnt that the West Indies team is all out and it's the Indian team's turn to bat. Aamir reached right in time to watch the God play his game.
Rahul Gandhi flew down especially to watch Sachin.
Riteish Deshmukh too couldn't miss the chance as he tweeted, 'Watched Sachin at Wankhede playing his last n 200th test - one of those days when u proudly say #IWasThere #thankyouSachin'.
Other celebs also at the stadium, took on to the micro blogging site and here's what they posted.
Kunal Kapoor: The god's are on my side.. Shooting pushed to afternoon!! Had one last chance to see the GOD in action #wankhede #live
Rahul Bose: When Sachin stopped at the boundary line and waved his bat in thanks to the Wankhede crowd, the sadness in the stadium was palpable.
