The makers of 'Dhadak' have released its official trailer and it takes us to the backdrop of modern-day Rajasthan where the lead characters Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor belong to. An official remake of the Marathi block-buster 'Sairat' but we feel the freshness in the chemistry of the two.

Ishaan is a shy lover boy whereas Janhvi is bold and audacious. The trailer begins with Ishaan singing the Aatif Aslam number 'Tu Jaane Na' to which Janhvi responds ''Tanney English aati hai na, English gaana ga k suna.'' Although we sense a Sairat nostalgia Ishaan and Janhvi took all of us by surprise with their benevolent act. While the antagonist and the villain of their life is Ashutosh Rana. We have already seen Ishaan's acting prowess in Majid Majidi's 'Beyond the Clouds' but what blew our mind is watching debutante Janhvi Kapoor act so smooth holding the Rajasthani dialect and delivering dialogues like she is not at all new in the business. Her intense moves from the trailer have won hearts.

Nagraj Manjule directorial 'Sairat' is hailed all over for its natural raw depiction of love, with this, the expectations for 'Dhadak' trailer has set every right standard and we cannot wait to witness Ishaan and Janhvi's chemistry on the July 20.
