Venus Pictures and director Dharmesh Darshan are back together with the sequel to their romantic blockbuster 'Dhadkan'. 'Dhadkan 2' the much awaited film for the new generation will be starting very soon for the next year's release.

Confirming the news about the sequel of the super hit film, producer Ratan Jain says, "A lot of people have been constantly asking me about our plans of making Dhadkan 2. Hence, I am happy to announce that we plan to go on floors this year. The essence of the film will remain the same, however, the new age sensibilities will be kept in mind. The film shall be released sometime next year."

When Dharmesh, director of the original movie was asked about making the sequel, he said, "Yes! I am, after a short gap of few years doing my follow up film to Dhadkan which is titled Dhadkan 2 - The Heart Beats Once Again."

He further added, "Humbled and honored is how I feel and I promise I will give Dhadkan 2 as much or more than I gave Dhadkan itself. I am a sincere director and believe in my sincerity and God. Yes to follow-up what is considered a classic is challenging."
