The national award winner, Dhanush now wants to venture into production for Bollywood. Though he has been producing films in South, he wants to take his time before he takes this plunge in Bollywood.

And for that, he has his own reasons."Producing Hindi films is on my agenda. But since I am new to this industry, I want to learn more about its functioning, and then venture into it (production)," said Dhanush.

He feels that though he has been successful so far, he will take some more time to prepare himself for production.

"I know what kinds of films work in the south, so I produced films there. So, getting into production won't be a new thing for me. But since this is a different industry, I want to know what films people appreciate here and would love to watch. I need to know the pulse of the audience. It is very important to learn about the economics of an industry before turning into a producer. I will produce a Hindi film only when I am completely confident," he stated.
