Dhanush became a pan India star after the viral success of 'Why this kolaveri di...' (from the movie 3). Following the success, his film 3 was dubbed and released in Telugu as well.

Continuing with the trend, the actor is reportedly planning a multilingual next which is expected to be simultaneously made in three Indian languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Titled Mariyaan, it will be directed by Bharat Bala, who made the Vande Mataram album in association with A. R. Rahman when India celebrated the golden jubilee of independence in 1997.
