Just a few months back it was reported that it was Vidya Balan’s decision to postpone the release of her forthcoming release "Kahaani". Apparently it was her decision to release the first look of the film in the month of January as after the super success of her film "No one killed Jessica" (It released in the same month last year) she considers it as a lucky month.

However she claimed that as an actor her work is just to give her best performance and not decide upon dates. She cleared that she never indulges in such practices and believes in concentrating on her work only. Vidya Balan revealed that all the reports of her deciding the dates of the release of her film or even the first look and trailer were untrue and completely false.
