Yesteryear superstar Dilip Kumar was hospitalized to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital as he complained about uneasiness due to chest infection.

The actor's Twitter handle carried the news about his hospitalization, that read, "Saab has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He's recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers."

Following which a team of doctors treating him gave an update about his stabilized health.

Today, a new agency was updated about the actor's health by his wife Saira Banu. She said, "He is doing better now. The medical reports are saying a small patch of pneumonia is there. God willing, he will be out of it soon. But he is doing fine."   

She further added, "We are here at Lilavati and we come here for a routine check-up regularly. He will be here for a few days, as long as the doctors want to do tests. All kinds of tests will be conducted."

The actor turned 94 in the year 2017 and keeps his fans updated about his health via his Twitter handle.
