(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dominic Cooper thinks he will continue getting his heart broken for the rest of his life.
The British actor was previously in a high-profile romance with his Mamma Mia! co-star, American actress Amanda Seyfried, but the pair split back in May after struggling with the difficulties of a long-distance relationship.
Dominic is believed to be single at the moment, and says he feels rather unlucky in love.
“Oh the whole time,” replied the star when the British edition of Marie Claire asked him when he last had his heart broken. “I’m a man with a broken heart. I think it will always be that way.”
Dominic was reluctant to talk about his romance with Amanda, admitting that their split left him speechless.
“I don’t know. I’m not going to answer that question, I don’t know what to say,” he responded when asked if he had any regrets about his time with the actress.
While the 32-year-old may feel unlucky in the romance department, he was happy to admit that his successful career has put him in a very privileged position.
Although he initially teased that he dislikes fame, Dominic confessed he enjoys the attention he receives from admiring fans and recognises that most people aren’t so fortunate.
“Being famous feels like a used teabag squished on the edge of a cup and left to rest in an ashtray. Ok, just kidding, being famous feels like….it’s lovely to get recognised for work you’re proud of. Most people aren’t lucky enough to get that. Even parking attendants,” he conceded. (C) Cover Media
