DOOKUDU - The recently released high-voltage action entertainer, starring Prince Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu has crossed the mark of the highest grosser in the Telugu film industry, Maghadeera. This news is also confirmed by the Mahesh Babu via his twitter updates.

He tweeted "It’s official.Dookudu is d highest grosser of the Telugu film industry….unbelievable….."

He also tweeted "Wana thank d producers of 14reels,my director sreenu vytla n d entire team….what can I say….only happiness at this time…."

Dookudu has been registering stupendous collections right from day one and the movie is still going strong in many areas. Mahesh Babu’s charm, coupled with some great comedy from Brahmanandam and MS Narayana, is majorly attracting family crowds.

Ever since it released in 2009, Maghadeera has been the gold standard of the Telugu film industry in terms of collections and commercial performance. After a gap of three years, Dookudu is the only movie which has crossed that mark.
