Films made by S S Rajamouli are known for creating records and the best example is Magadheera. Going a step ahead, the director's forthcoming film Eega has set a record even before its release.

The film's trailer has received 5.63 lakhs hits on the popular video sharing website Youtube within a week. While Rachcha got 5.03 lakh hits in three weeks, Dammu got 3.28 lakh views in 8 days. This clearly shows Eega is way ahead of all the other flicks.

Eega, which has Nani and Samantha in lead roles, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies this year.  The movie which is simultaneously being made in Kollywood as Naan Ee is set to hit the screens this summer.

According to a press release from the producers, unexpressed love, untamed lust, murderous jealousy, rebirth and revenge is the theme of this Rajamouli’s summer release.
