Zac Efron thought shooting love scenes with Taylor Schilling "felt great."

The Hollywood heartthrob stars in upcoming movie The Lucky One with Taylor.

Getting steamy together while filming erotic scenes for the movie wasn't a problem for Zac.

He and Taylor had been getting to know each other for several months before locking lips.

"We had great chemistry," Zac E! Online. "We knew each other every which way. It felt great."

Zac experienced similar scenes with actress Nicole Kidman in their upcoming movie The Paperboy.

The hunk is astounded by the amount of onscreen action he is getting with gorgeous stars.

"Yeah, hot blondes!" he gushed.

Zac has spoken previously about his penchant for brunettes.

"My preference is for older women. My favourite actresses are Penlope Cruz, Rosario Dawson, Salma Hayek and Eva Longoria," he told Vanity Fair Italy.

"Dark hair and dark eyes are a perfect combination. I guess I cannot resist that Mediterranean look. That exotic allure. Every time I visit Italy I am daydreaming!"

Zac is currently thought to be single following his 2010 split from Vanessa Hudgens, although he has been linked to Rumer Willis and Lily Collins.

The Lucky One opens worldwide this week.
