Once again television and film producer Ekta Kapoor has purchased the rights of yesteryear blockbuster film 'Nagin' starring Jeetendra and Reena Roy.

Ekta wants to remake the film but give it a contemporary feel setting it in today's time. The team have been working on the script for the last three-four months making sure they get things right.

The original film also had Sanjay Dutt, Feroz Khan, Vinod Mehra and Rekha playing important roles. But in regards to this project, the director is yet to be decided and only then the cast will be confirmed.

Besides the above project, Ekta will soon start work on her film 'Milan Talkies' that stars Priyanka Chopra and Imran Khan for the first time together.
