(Cover) - EN Fashion - Elle Macpherson is so bored with talking about plus-size models.
The 47-year-old Australian supermodel is famous for her toned physique and during her heyday was nicknamed The Body because of her perfect figure.
Elle, who is currently the lead judge on the television show Britains Next Top Model, has been busy attending various shows at the ongoing London Fashion Week, and has found herself drawn into the plus-size debate. Larger models walked the catwalk in New York recently, and their inclusion in other shows is fashions current hot topic.
Oh God, I am so bored with talking about this, admitted Elle. You know, you see all sorts of body types throughout the ages of the fashion industry from Raquel Welch to Kate Moss. I have seen it all. There is beauty in every body shape.
British model Erin OConnor also joined in the debate, as she has co-founded a campaign to encourage the fashion world to celebrate different sizes.
Slim Erin finds it dull if models are all the same size, and thinks normal women should be able to relate to the beauties they see walking down the catwalk.
For me, everybody should have their moment; its about looking at a woman, seeing her as being an aspiration and an identifiable person. That is what we are trying to do. It would be really lovely just to see a little bit more variety, explained the star on British programme Lorraine. (C) Cover Media
