(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Mendes relationship is believed to be under strain as she isnt ready to marry.

The actress has been dating filmmaker George Gargurevich also known as George Augusto for eight years. She is famously tight-lipped about her private life, preferring not to talk about the romance as she likes to keep it personal.

It is alleged the couple are currently trying to work through problems, after 36-year-old Eva admitted she doesnt feel ready to settle down fully earlier this year.

There have been problems since the summer, when she said she wasn't ready to get married, a source told the New York Post.

The pair are still getting on well though, with George said to be involved in Evas professional life.

The Hollywood stars representative has not commented on the claims.

Although Eva dislikes talking about her relationship, she is happy to discuss other aspects of her personal life. The star recently admitted she likes being famous as it affords her more opportunities, although she tries to avoid being seen out too much so she isnt followed by paparazzi all the time.

Despite being known as one of the sexiest actresses in Hollywood, she insisted she isnt often approached by men.
