One might fall short of words to describe Farhan Akhtar's extraordinary talent that keeps him on top of the game. Today he turns a year older.

Donning a director's cap in 2000 he introduced the audience to films which were class apart. His modern classics based on friendship and love with an essence of reality, got him immense success in his directorial ventures. 

Though all the masterpieces seen in his filmography were not directed by him, but his eye for detail made him produce some amazing films under his banner – Excel Entertainment along with Ritesh Sidhwani.

One of the unstoppable kinds, he moved on and added one more profession for himself. He started singing and just like filmmaking talent, he excelled in this one too.

Today his flawless acting skills didn't make the audience think that in reality he had no plans to face cameras. But we must thank the genius behind this who got him on screen, as Farhan has thoroughly nailed it on silver screen as well as on television.

And lastly his initiative 'MARD' that supports women and fights for gender equality is slowly yet steadily making a change in the society.

So on this note we wish the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar a very happy birthday.
