There has been much hullabaloo over Farhan Akhtar’s decision to sign an unconventional reality-based film "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" which is touted to be like a biopic of famous athlete Milkha Singh.

The film is helmed by "Rang De Basanti" director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan recently revealed that the moment the narration of the story ended he gave his nod to star in it. “I met Rakeysh once when he had come to narrate the script to me. After he completed his narration the next very second I decided to get on board for it. It is not a run-of-the-mill kind of a film but it’s the life of a legend. I am proud to be associated with it,” added Farhan.

He exclaimed that he has met the sports legend in real and is looking forward to start shooting. He further added that they would like to keep the film as real as possible, “We will try and make this film without any unnecessary drama and will keep it factually right,” added Farhan.
