We have heard Farhan Akhtar's music earlier whether it be in films or albums. People just love his style of writing and the type of music he makes. Mostly known for his rock songs, Farhan will now treat his fans with an Indie-English album. He has been writing songs for the same.

 A leading daily quoted him saying, "It could take weeks, even months to come out. The songs are written and the basic composition is done. Now, it's about getting into the studio. I'm collaborating with James Sanger, a France-based British producer who's currently in India and working closely with me on the four songs about personal experiences which we have shortlisted for the EP (Extended Play)."

James is a well known face in the music industry and has even received two Brit awards and 18 Grammy awards. Farhan was introduced to James by an agent and is more than happy to have him on board. When asked about singing in English Farhan said that music itself is a language and it has no other barriers.

He concludes saying, "We're working on a strategy on how to put out the music but right now it's important to get the four songs up to a place where we are happy to release them."
