Filmmaker Kumar Baadal is gearing up for his next ambitious project and plans to cast an A-list actor of Bollywood. The film is not a run of the mill flick as it is expected that he wants to make a film based on a controversial sting operation namely ‘Tehelka’. He wants a strong male protagonist in the role of a journalist who took the daring step in his career and exposed quite stunning facts.

For this meaty role, Kumar has finalized three actors namely Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Amongst these three Bollywood bigwigs he hopes to sign one and commence the film. Talking about the film, Kumar stated the following, “The film is based on the aftermath of the controversy that was stirred by Tehelka team after 'Operation West End'  that exposed quite a few politicians of India.”  He exclaimed that the casting is one of the biggest concerns, “I'd like Ranbir, Shahid or Ranveer to play the role of this journalist who does sting operations. The protagonist gets involved in a dangerous game after which neither he nor his organization can survive” said Kumar.

The director himself has been a part of the Tehelka team and is making the film on the basis of his experience.
