Anupam Kher who was away from the limelight is back with a bang and how! He will be seen portraying the former PrimeMiniter of India in the upcoming film 'The Accidental Prime Minister.' The first look of which was shared by him today on his social media platform Twitter. "To reinvent yourself as an actor is to challenge yourself. Looking forward to portraying #DrManmohanSingh in #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.:)" he wrote alongside the poster.

The poster shows Anupam Kher as the turban-clad Prime Minister with similar glasses and face. Anupam looks like a splitting image of the former PM. The film is be based on Sanjaya Baru's book, titled 'The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making And Unmaking of Manmohan Singh.'

It is directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and produced by Sunil Bohra and is expected to release in 2018.
