After weeks of delay, Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' is finally going on floor. The filmmaker initially wanted to shoot in Kashmir, but due to the devastating floods, the film has shifted its venue to Mumbai.
It'll go on floor in mid- November, confirmed Abhishek. Despite floods he was prepared to shoot in Kashmir; however the film's stars Rekha, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur were cautious about visiting the state.
A close friend of the director added, "It wasn't an easy decision to shift the venue to Mumbai. The film has already been postponed twice. And the producers were unwilling to wait beyond November."
An Indian adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel 'Great Expectations', 'Fitoor' will show Rekha stepping into the character of desi Miss Havisham, while Aditya will play a pip.
Meanwhile, Katrina will be juggling between 'Fitoor' and 'Jagga Jasoos'. Kat essays the role of Estella in the film.
